Getting Here Getting to and from Eugene is easy via the Eugene Airport on any of five carriers serving Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, Redmond, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Seattle or via Amtrak. Car rentals are readily available at the airport or community-based locations. Eugene and Springfield are on the I-5 corridor, 195 miles north of the California/Oregon border, and 105 miles south of Portland. Getting Around Athletes will be provided with transportation assistance from their arrival into Eugene until their departure.with credentials will ride for free on any Lane Transit District bus in Eugene for the week of the event. Additionally, shuttles from area hotels to the track and to the practice track will be provided. Further details about shuttle schedules will be posted closer to the dates of the event.
